Sudoku Instructions (16×16 Grid)
Objective:
Fill in the grid so that every row, column, and 4×4 sub grid contains the symbols 1 through 16 exactly once.
(Some versions use 1–9 and the letters A–G to represent 10–16.)
Rules:
- Each row must contain all symbols 1–16, without repetition.
- Each column must contain all symbols 1–16, without repetition.
- Each 4×4 subgrid must contain all symbols 1–16, without repetition.
How to Solve:
- Start with the clues – Look for rows, columns, or subgrids missing only a few symbols.
- Use elimination – If a symbol already appears in a row, column, or subgrid, it can’t be used again there.
- Find single options – If a symbol can fit in only one cell within a row, column, or subgrid, place it there.
- Recheck often – Each number placed gives new information for the rest of the grid.
- Use pencil marks – Write small notes of possible symbols in empty cells, then narrow them down as you go.
- Watch for patterns – Look for unique symbol groups or repeating positions that can help identify correct placements.
